INSPIRED by 1970s Australian cricket heroes, members of the Cockaleechie Cricket Club (CCC) have grown moustaches for Movember to raise funds for men's health.
The CCC lads set a goal to raise $2000 but have surpassed this and collected more than $2600.
Team member Richard May said the team got involved to do something together as a team and because it was for a worthy cause.
"We thought a team photo with everyone sporting a mo would be great and the other factor was we all wanted to look like our illustrious president Fox Holman."
Mr May said some of the boys' efforts in growing their mo's had created a bit of laughter and banter.
He said it was tough to pick who had grown the best mo but the club would hold a "mo-off" at the month's end.
"Our wives and girlfriends would say none of them are very good... but we all love Mark Cretty's; everyone should go to the Movember website and check his photo out!"
Mr May said a few of the blonde blokes had a little trouble getting theirs to show up as did the younger team members.
Meanwhile, a group from Cummins Area School have also gotten into the swing of Movember and raised nearly $1400.
Movember raises funds and awareness for men's health, specifically prostate cancer and depression. Anyone still wishing to donate can visit www.movember.com and any donations over $2 are tax deductible.
