ON Monday the Lower Eyre Peninsula SAPSASA cricket team had a convincing win over Southern Yorke Peninsula in Adelaide.
Southern Yorke was bowled out for 54 off 19 overs in a 45 over match.
Best with the ball was an outstanding effort by Luke Partington, taking four wickets for four runs off four overs, with strong support from Matt Castley who took one for one off three overs, and Jay Green who bowled three maiden overs, taking one wicket set their side up for a win with some very good fielding efforts.
Lower EP batted out their 45 overs scoring 87 runs with Luke Partington adding to his great bowling effort with the bat, making 15 runs to be player of the match and Texas Sinclair with 17 runs, and Lachlan Gale with 11 runs steered their team to a very convincing win.
