250 games for Coad

BRIAN Coad played in his 250th A grade game on Saturday for Tumby Bay against Eyre United.

Coad started playing A grade about 1992; he was 17, is a life member of the Tumby Bay Football Club, has won three club best and fairest awards and was named first ruck in the Tumby Bay Football Club's team of the century.

He has been a member of the Great Flinders Mortlock Shield side for 13 carnivals, has been a part of the winning team seven times and was the 2002 Bampton Medal winner for being best and fairest at the Mortlock Shield.

In 2004 he won the Peter Beard Medal, which is for the best and fairest Eyre Peninsula player in the State Country Championships and won a Mail Medal in 1999.
