WAYBACK ran out convincing winners against Boston in a wet and windy clash at Poole oval on Saturday.
Boston were able to match the Demons for the first 15 minutes of the contest, however after this point Wayback exerted their dominance.
After heavy overnight rainfall the players were greeted with hail as they ran onto the field and the strong wind blew directly across the goal towards the changerooms.
Scoring was possible at both ends of the ground although the conditions threatened to make scoring difficult.
Kelsh was the first to goal for the Demons. Hywood started at full forward for the Tigers and he replied with a major to level the scores.
At this early stage it appeared the conditions would suit the Tigers' quest to restrict the influence of the Demon on ball brigade. Unfortunately this was the only goal kicked for the day by the Tigers.
Kelsh kicked his second goal and this was followed by a running goal to O'Leary to finish the quarter.
Boston's cause wasn't helped by the absence of Hammond and Austin Monfries however Eddie Smith was prominent for the Tigers early.
Kelsh looked dangerous early for the Demons and Kaden Hull was given the task of reducing his influence.
The only goals for the second term were both kicked by Vogelsanger for Wayback as Ben Kayser, Lynch, Konitzka and Rawson had effectively closed down the Tigers' attack by this stage.
Marsh was busy in the midfield and Arbon saw plenty of the ball on his back flank.
A 28-point deficit at the long break was perhaps still within reach of the Tigers.
The Demons produced their best play of the game to produce a seven-goal third term; the highlight was a solo effort from Sara, who intercepted a handball and goaled on the run.
Shanley worked hard for the Tigers in a classic contest against Cragg-Sapsford, but the game was over as a contest by the last break with the Demons holding a 73-point lead.
A further three goals to the Demons without reply in the last term completed a good team effort.
They face a crucial two-week period in clashes against the two teams above them on the ladder.
Boston would be disappointed with the margin. Their lack of depth was exposed by the absence of Hammond and Monfries.
Despite failing to register a victory so far they had been much more competitive in previous outings this year and still have the potential to shape the final four in their remaining games.
