THE Tumby Bay Football Club is keen to make amends after a disappointing finish to the 2008 season.

There have been some changes at the club with new president Andy Allen taking over the position from Paul Cave, and a grant has been obtained to upgrade lighting at the oval, with new towers and lights to be installed this year.

Players to watch in 2009 will be the rugged Jimmy Chard, and first year senior player, and Tom Kelly, who is fast developing into a potential key position player.

The return of 2007 premiership players Luke Shannon and David Fleming will also boost the Tumby team.
