Second semi final - A grade
A COLD and blustery day with a few showers greeted supporters at Cummins for the all important clash between flag favourites Tumby Bay and United Yeelanna, a team of spirited youngsters, keen to have a crack at the top side.
Tumby Bay ran out comfortable winners and will await the outcome of the preliminary final this week between the Eagles and Ramblers to see who they will play in the grand final.
Tumby won the toss and kicked north giving them the first use of the wind.

The younger Yeelanna side threw out the challenge to Tumby, kicking two unanswered goals into the wind, but Tumby began to settle and two quick goals through Reid and Butler soon evened the ledger.
Prime and Coad kicked two more for the quarter for Tumby and at the break the Blues led 4-7 to 2-0.
Yeelanna did the attacking early in the second quarter but Tumby clogged up their forward line, making it difficult for Yeelanna to make use of the wind.
Tumby's experienced players in Coad and the Curtis brothers got support from younger players including Tyson Cross.
Holes began opening up in Yeelanna's backlines and Tumby players Jimmy Chard and David Butler were making full use of them.
Mail medallist Michael Curtis, playing at full forward, kicked Tumby's first for the quarter, then another. Yeelanna were trying hard but Tumby kept working the ball forward and Reid snapped a goal for Tumby late in the quarter after a good centering kick by Jefferson.
Yeelanna managed only two points for the quarter and trailed at half time 2-2 to 7-8.
Coad and Secker faced off again to start the second half and Tumby's on ballers moved quickly forward where Craig Curtis crumbed the ball off hands and ran into an open goal to kick Tumby's first for the quarter.
Tumby continued to dominate the quarter with goals to Michael Curtis, Prime and Jefferson.
Ricky Skinner and Stephen Crettenden picked up touches for Yeelanna and at times worked the ball forward.
Luke Howie kicked Yeelanna's only goal for the quarter from a set shot 45 metres out late in the quarter.
At three quarter time Tumby Bay led 11-9 to 3-4.
Coad, who was dominating the ruck, gave Tumby's on ballers first look at the ball again and they quickly ran the ball forward where Chard snapped a goal in the opening minute.
Yeelanna began getting more of the ball with Ben Simpson creative up forward allowing Michael Crettenden to snap a much needed goal for Yeelanna, but it was all too late as Tumby kicked four more for the quarter to Yeelanna's one to win 16-10 to 5-7.
Tumby's solid win will give them confidence for whoever they meet in the grand final.
Yeelanna will need to re-group going into this week's clash with Ramblers who are always dangerous in the finals.
Good performances from youngsters Sam Glover, the Crettenden brothers and Matt Watson will give Yeelanna some confidence.
