RIKKI-LEE Hull is the owner of a new Mini Ray after representing the Port Lincoln Racing Club and winning the SA Oaks Day Fashion at the Races on Saturday.
Miss Hull, wearing a fascinator from Kerrie Stanley and outfit by Faye Karp, won the car worth more than $29,000 after being judged against other finalists from around the state.
Miss Hull, who is originally from the West Coast but now lives in Victoria, was awarded the title from 14 entrants at Schweppes Oaks Day at Morphettville Racecourse.
Thoroughbred Racing SA marketing manager Jane Wellington, who was a judge on the day, said she was a deserving winner.
"It was extremely close between all of the finalists but Rikki-Lee's outfit had originality and style," she said.
"It was appropriate for attending the races in the autumn weather and it also had a touch of individuality."
Runner-up was Brooke Walter, representing Strathalbyn Racing Club, who won a $3000 wardrobe by Perri Cutten.
Miss Hull won the right to participate in the finals when she won her second consecutive Fashion at the Races at the Port Lincoln Cup in March.
