THE Tumby Bay Youth Advisory Committee has formed a team to enter Relay for Life activities at Port Lincoln this weekend.

The team has fundraised through a raffle, where more than 300 tickets sold.

Generous donations from Tumby Bay locals and businesses offered valuable gifts.

These were used to make up four prizes amounting to more than $400.

The Youth RADvisory Committee team was also successful door knocking and visiting local business to sell a lamington and finger bun run around the area.

The Tumby Bay Bakery supplied the wares at a reasonable rate.

The team’s fundraising goal was $1000.

But the team has exceeded that, though not all money has been banked as yet.

The four raffle prize winners were: first Danica Gates, second Richard Hennell, third Teena Norton-Fahey and fourth Armani Gates.

Many thanks to the generous community for their monetary and voluntary contributions towards the YAC team raising money for Relay for Life.
