Great efforts in Triathlon Club events

People of all ages took on events put on by the Port Lincoln Triathlon Club during the Tunarama weekend.

It started with the Tunarama Fun Run on Australia Day which saw Patrick Goodwin start what would be a great weekend for him, finishing first about two seconds ahead of Byron Goodrick with Brad Fuller third.

The Tunarama Swim Through on Saturday saw another win for Goodwin who finished less than a second in front of Levi Proude with Jamie Ford third.

It concluded with the Tunarama Triathlon on Sunday with Max Rogalski finishing first with a time of 1.28:23, ahead of Kylie Hurrell in second and Sarah Goodwin third.

With wins in the swim through and fun run Patrick Goodwin won the Grand Slam for Male Junior ahead of Byron Goodrick.

Millie Russell and Hannah Russell were winners for Female Junior with Sarah Brougham taking out Female Senior 20-39, Triona Ambrose winning Female Master and Karen McConnell claiming Female Legend.

Sam Stevens won the Grand Slam for Male Master while Peter Sheridan won in the Male Legend category.
