After several weeks of work and plenty of assitance from the local community, the mosaic panels for the Ungarra Twitcher’s Trail will be unveiled this Friday.

Community members and students have taken part in workshops to create four mosaic panels that will be located along the trail between Ungarra and Lipson.

Artist Karen Carr had worked with participants to create the mosaics.

People are invited to come to the Ungarra Hall at 3.30pm for the unveiling.

Following the event those in attendance are invited to come to Ungarra Primary School for a curry night beginning at 6pm.

Curries made by students and their families will be served with all money raised going towards the school’s Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program.

Natural Resources Eyre Peninsula provided the twitcher’s trail project with support from Squashed Cocky (Karen Carr), Ungarra and Districts Hall and Progress Association and Ungarra Primary School.
