The Port Lincoln Anglers Club recently held its annual presentation and seafood night after a successful 2016/2017 season.
About 60 members, family and sponsors enjoyed a night of fishing tales, a quiz and great food.
The club thanked sponsors and in difficult economic times appreciates it is difficult to assist everyone.
The anglers club holds 11 outings a year where skills are tested, with six of a species competition rules to help preserve fish numbers.
The club also holds two dry land casting events and three light line events.

The other trophies went to Wayne Bockman (Pat Prow Memorial), Allan Stagg (dry land casting), Riley Peters (Veolia Sport Fishing); John Peters (Salmon Trophy), Wayne Bockman (Peter Kittle Toyota Whiting Trophy), Nathan Paterson (most improved), Riley Peters (junior most improved) and Michael Brown (Unscheduled Species Trophy).
EP Fire and Safety T-shirt winners were Wayne Bockman, Damien Paterson, Riley Peters, Vicki Brown and Annette Brasington.
