UNDER 17 – Tasman v Mallee Park

A GRAND final featuring a so far undefeated side as Roosters coach Nathan Frost shoots for back-to-back premierships with his talent laden outfit.

The class of Sean Ambrose rises to the top with every big game, intercepting marking king Levi Brown finds space with ease and Kody Rosalia has slotted into this outfit without problem.  Cooper Tansell is a proven ball winner, James Ryan is a dangerous forward who can pinch hit through midfield and ruckman Marcus Gobin plays an instinctive game based on run. Also look for Coen George, the best key defender in the league, as well as George Wilks and Mitchell Jude.

The Kingsley Bilney Jnr coached Peckers side responded like good teams do with a comfortable win over Souths in the preliminary.

Thanks largely to the talented Waylon Miller whose non-stop running was relentless and Tyrone Miller-Warren who played his strongest game in a while. Paul Hull has taken his game to a higher level as an on-baller, Bryce Sellen leads from the front in defence while Cyril Duncan and Ronald Carbine Jnr are two elusive defenders. Other ones to watch are the talented Leonard Wells Jnr and the ever ready Jyzaih Jones.

Both these teams have quality power forwards in Jacob Collins for Roosters and Hippy Wanganeen Jnr for Peckers, both capable of tearing a game apart. Peckers will throw everything at this but Tasman will have an edge. Tip: Tasman 11-20.
