SEAFOOD FESTIVAL: Adam Liaw will cook with local prawns and tuna.

EYRE Peninsula seafood will be on the menu in Adelaide this weekend at the Seafood and Sounds festival.

THE inaugural two-day Seafood and Sounds festival will feature some of Port Lincoln’s famous seafood including Dinko tuna and Spencer Gulf king prawns.

The festival was created as an opportunity to celebrate the fresh local produce offered in the Adelaide Central Markets.

The festival includes live music and entertainment but will also feature cooking demonstrations by well-known South Australian chefs like Callum Hann.

One of Australia’s most influential foodies, Adam Liaw, will be in town to headline the program of cooking demonstrations, with two free sessions at 11am and 1pm.

The cooking demonstrations will be free and will help educate the buyers of seafood how best to prepare it at home.

Mr Liaw will cook with Spencer Gulf prawns and Dinko tuna at 1pm on Friday, October 13.
