Mental Health Week in Port Lincoln started off with a bang with a record crowd at Mentally Fit EP’s Sideshow Alley.

It was the second Sideshow Alley which coincided with this year’s Mental Health Day attracting a healthy crowd of almost 2000 people.

West Coast Youth and Community Support chief executive officer Joanne Clark said the Mentally Fit EP team was hoping to attract 1000 people – similar to how many attended the event two years ago.

“It was a special day to have that many people out.

“There was so many people and so many conversations about mental health that occurred at the stalls.

“That was great because the more we can be open and talk about it the more people can engage and get access to the services they might need.”
