The Charlton branch of Women in Agriculture and Business celebrated the 100-year milestone of this South Australian organisation recently.
Members were joined by ex-members and friends from several other Eyre Peninsula branches for memory sharing, looking at old scrap books and photos and enjoying a more elaborate supper than is usually served.
Many wore items of clothing from the 19th century, some also one hundred years old.
Yvonne Low read a poem she wrote for the 80th birthday that she has added to over the last three decades and Mary Murray cut a birthday cake made and decorated by Liz Mickan.
Awards were presented to Mary Murray for her 60 years of WAB, and Kay Williams received a 10-year certificate for her membership of Charlton, following her earlier membership of the Brooker branch.
