A Port Lincoln man, 47, was arrested after he was caught driving while disqualified in Port Lincoln on Monday.
Just before 6pm, patrols spotted the man driving a Holden sedan along Heath Street.
He was stopped on Coronation Place and arrested.
He was charged with driving disqualified, driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle and possessing prohibited weapon after police located a homemade morning star.
He was refused bail and was remanded in custody to reappear in the court on November 21.
