A man lost his licence and car after being caught drink driving in Port Lincoln early on Saturday morning.
Just before 3am, police stopped a car travelling on Tennant Street and breath tested the driver.
The driver, a 30-year-old local man, allegedly returned a positive reading of 0.089.
He was reported for drink driving, issued and instant loss of licence and his car impounded for 28 days.
He will face court at a later date.
