There is a brand new fusion takeaway restaurant capturing the hearts of Port Lincoln locals and visitors, with SushKebabs recently opening on the foreshore.
The shop is named after its star menu item.
The sushkebab is a novel food rarely seen outside of America, and is essentially a sushi roll that is the size of a kebab.
Not just known for the size though, what also sets the sushi apart is chef Daniel’s secret sushi seasoning.
Daniel O’Neill is a qualified chef with over 17 years experience in Japanese cuisine (Teppanyaki) and sushi.
He opened SushKebabs with Michael Haritos (known locally as Harry) who has 30 years experience in the food industry and has gained a great reputation from Harry’s Pizza Bar.
After seeing the demand for an authentic yiros shop, Daniel and Harry were happy to answer the call.

While the sushi is certainly a favourite, it is no doubt matched in popularity by the traditional greek yiros, made with SA lamb, chicken or both, cooked on a spit with Harry’s signature flavour.
SushKebabs uses local fish products and the best quality ingredients available.
Located on the beautiful Port Lincoln foreshore, SushKebabs have a focus on customer service and satisfaction.
Both Daniel and Harry want to thank the Port Lincoln community for their support, as well as all those who helped with supplies, building and shopfitting.
