Cannabis found at Lower Eyre rural property

Police reported one man and fined another in relation to illicit drugs found at a rural property on the Lower Eyre Peninsula on Monday.

At about noon on Monday, March 12, police from Cummins and Port Lincoln attended the property and located six cannabis plants, a small quantity of dried cannabis and equipment used for consumption of the drug.

A 58-year-old old was reported for cultivating cannabis and will be summoned to appear in the Port Lincoln Magistrates Court at a later date.

A second man at the property was issued with a $300 on the spot fine for possession and equipment offences.
