Your new role

  • Understand customer insights and feedback. Act to put the best interests of our customers at the heart of everything we do
  • Case underwrite, assess risk on an individual basis, whilst assisting with the development and retention of existing business
  • Ensure all business underwritten enhances portfolio targets and profitability and that underwriting bias is given to risks that display better than average profitability through selection and prudent underwriting
  • Effectively manage workflows and phone queues to ensure delivery of quality products and services
  • Manage relationships across various distribution channels as per delegated authority limits
  • Accurately interpret, anticipate and provide solutions to customers’ needs from available information to design sustainable responses to suit customer circumstances and address their needs

What you'll need to succeed

  • Comprehensive understanding of relevant regulatory and/or legislative compliance requirements that affect the organisation
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm and ability to optimise business value to customers by delivering high quality services and positive customer experiences to sustain and enhance the customer base
  • Proven analytical and critical thinking capability to interpret a range of data, identify patterns, trends and links that inform judgements and solutions
  • Pay high attention to detail by completing tasks with thoroughness and accuracy and has the ability to quickly identify errors or inconsistencies within information
  • Ability to interpret and analyse complex information, extract meaningful insights and evaluate options for decision making.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with clarity, impact and influence
