Commercial Officer (Grad)

Your new company
Our federal government client requires a Junior Accountant to join their busy team in a Commercial Officer position. This is a temporary assignment for 6 months with the opportunity to extend for another 6 months. This position is suitable for students who are studying or graduated within an Accounting or Commerce Degree. This is a part time (2.5 days per week) opportunity.

Your new role
As a Commercial Officer your responsibilities will include:

• Researching and collating financial data
• Data and financial analysis
• Inputting data into spreadsheets and other databases
• Market and company research
• Other duties as directed

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful for this role, you will need:

• To be either a student or graduate in a university degree within a relevant discipline
• Good general accounting knowledge
• Strong analytical skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience using MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Australian Citizenship (Federal government requirements)
