Norwest Private Hospital are seeking Registered Nurse & Enrolled Nurses

to join our 25 bed Medical Ward in this Permanent Full Time opportunity.

About the role:

This opportunity will see you join our general medical ward. We primary care for a mix of acute general medical, respiratory and cardiology patients and provide end of life care.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care
• Provide complex and multi-disciplinary care
• Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs
• Act as a role model for Safe Practice
• Supervise, direct and support nursing team members
• Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs
• Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care (RN's only)

Essential Criteria:

• Current Registration with AHPRA
• Prior nursing experience in an acute care setting (3 years)
• Demonstrated ability to act as a patient advocate;
• Demonstrated professional manner when working with complex situations;
• Advanced communication skills as part of a multi-disciplinary team with a willingness to learn new skills;
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster (across 7 days)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Works well independently and within a team
• Intermediate computer skills

Remuneration:

• RN: If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF - NSW Nurses and Midwives' - Enterprise Agreement 2020 - 2024, a salary ranging from $33.91 - $47.62 per hour.
• EN: If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF - NSW Nurses and Midwives' - Enterprise Agreement 2020 - 2024, a salary ranging from $32.13 - $34.96 per hour.
