Insurance Valuation Consultant

Fuse are working with a global company to recruit an exceptional opportunity! We are looking for an Insurance Valuation Consultant to join this well-known and respected organisation.

You will be working as part of a national team performing valuation and assessments on high value properties as part of our client's market offering.

The ideal candidate will come from either a property valuation, property assessment and or loss adjusting background. You will have excellent rapport building and stakeholder management skills.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Assess the replacement cost of high net worth homes by adhering to accepted valuation methods
• Identifying potential exposures and review the security and fire protection relative to the insurance coverages
• Assess exposure to catastrophe perils such as bushfire and flood
• Provide recommendations to the underwriting team regarding risk
• Prepare comprehensive but concise reports communicating the results of the investigation
• Identify the need for additional insurance coverages based on insured's personal possessions and lifestyle.

We are looking for someone with:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Desirable, relevant degree (Property/Valuations/Construction) or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3-years' experience in a similar role in an insurance/residential or commercial property environment
• Exceptional presentation skills
• Experience working with stakeholders at all levels
