Reporting to the General Manager Environment and Infrastructure, this position is responsible for managing the maintenance and development of Council's open spaces and facilities including playgrounds, parks, dryland and native reserves, coastal reserves, drainage reserves, streetscapes and sports grounds.
With a strategic mindset, you will be focused on the development of multi-year works plans and schedules, the efficient and effective delivery of services, and the development and mentoring of staff within the Open Spaces team.

Successful candidates will ideally have a tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Horticulture, Landscape Architecture or similar related discipline however, demonstrable experience will be considered in lieu of qualifications. As a collaborative and influential leader, you will ensure the efficient delivery of customer focused outcomes. You will have a high level of technical competence relating to the development of long-term work plans and ongoing maintenance services to ensure the upkeep of community assets.
