Radio technicians needed in Mount Gambier

Your new company
This International telecommunications organisation provide solutions and service to major industrial, Government, transport and security industries throughout Australia. Their expertise provides their clients with design, installation, and servicing for green and brown field projects.

Due to securing a new contract and an opportunity has been created for an Installer to join the team in the SA expansion.

Your new role
As a radio technician you will be providing servicing and maintenance work to various radio telecommunications system and equipment. Confidently maintaining systems based on DMR, TETRA, analogue and P25 infrastructure systems.

You will be able to make repairs to systems and equipment out in the field. You will be able to prepare documents for site assessments, surveys and reports. Feel comfortable on your own but also able to help mentor new talent in the team. You will also be committed to deliver quality service.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in the role you will have a strong working knowledge of radio and telecommunications equipment including P25, TETRA, DMR radio equipment. Have a reasonable level of computer proficiency, using Word, Excel and Outlook. You will be client facing so good customer services skills will be key as will the ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining a high quality of work. Be confident working at heights, EWPs and climbing towers.

In addition, you will require:

White Card
Drivers License
Preferably a certificate III in electronics engineering, RF engineering or related fields of study
Experience with wireless, IP networking, PAGA, telephony and microwave is very desirable
