About our Opportunity

We're looking for an enthusiastic and customer focused Sales Representative servicing Brisbane North (from Gateway Bridge North) and the Sunshine Coast (up to Gympie), supporting our established builder portfolio, hardware stores and resellers. Account management, promoting through specifications to builders, attending trade shows and canvasing new business opportunities, the role will see you predominantly on road, as you engage with the hardware stores training employees on new products, promoting and updating pricing and lead times. Confident and able to naturally engage and build rapport, you will be at ease in your consultative selling approach to develop and maintain customer relationships by offering hands on support with site visits, measurements right through to after sales support such as inspections on products and investigating defect issues. 

About You

We’re looking for a self-motivated sales professional with a strong service ethos who thrives in taking the lead in managing their own work schedule, autonomy in a role is your preference. Previous experience in a Sales Representative role within the building industry is our preference. Leveraging your ability to build positive relationships, your capability to work through and problem solve, and your negotiation skills are key to this role. You will diligently plan, organise and carryout selling activities that will enable you to exceed your sales targets.
