LOCAL Olympic hopeful Kyle Chalmers took a break from the pool when he visited Port Lincoln over the weekend but it did not take long for him to get back in the water for a similarly breathtaking experience.
Local business Adventure Bay Charters arranged a shark cage diving experience, along with a swim with sealions and swim with tuna for Chalmers and some close friends across the weekend.
Chalmers was back in his former home town for some rest and recreation with family and friends before heading back to Adelaide yesterday to continue his training in the lead up to the Rio Olympics in August.
He also watched some local football at Centenary Oval on Saturday and tossed the coin before the A grade match between his old club Lincoln South and Marble Range.
He has been in the pool nine times a week so this spell in Lincoln was a well deserved break.
