LOCAL law firm Nicholls Gervasi has had a long history in Port Lincoln.
The company began when lawyer Joseph Scoresby Shepard came to Port Lincoln to practice, in the early 1900s, and lived there for several years.
He was involved in the formation of the corporation of Port Lincoln and became its first Mayor in about 1920.
Several years later, his son Geoffrey Lincoln Shepherd took up the practice, living in Port Lincoln and practicing in both Port Lincoln and Adelaide.
