Tumby Bay receives first Lower Eyre deliveries

Harvest season on Lower Eyre Peninsula is officially underway with the first deliveries made to Tumby Bay last week.

Barley and canola have made up the first loads for Lower Eyre for 2017/18.

Viterra western region operations manager James Murray said harvest would pick up following the recent warm, dry weather.

“We expect more deliveries to get underway now in the region and our sites are ready to go as soon as growers can start,” he said.
