The Eyre Peninsula Agricultural Research Foundation is one of six grower groups that have received a share in $20,000 funding from the South Australian Grain Industry Trust (SAGIT) for its Adjuvants Information workshops.
This funding is in addition to $1.81 million in funding for 25 research projects in 2018.
The trust received 36 applications for funding this year, with successful projects ranging from crop root health and the use of drones to salt tolerance in bread wheats and nutrients in lentils and chickpeas.
Trust chairman Michael Treloar said applications were of a high quality which created challenging decisions for the trust, which is funded by a grower levy of 30 cents per tonne produced.
Another round of funding for grower groups will be announced in July.
