Roadworks on Sheoak Road at Tulka could be completed by the end of the financial year, including kerbing which is due to be laid this week.
Lower Eyre Peninsula District Council chief executive officer Rodney Pearson said completion of the roadworks would depend upon the weather.
The council is also undertaking re-sheeting work on Green Patch Road, a process which involves applying additional gravel material to the road to increase its lifespan.
The council has re-sheeted 1200 metres on Green Patch Road, which was temporarily put on hold in April due to a lack of rubble.
Mr Pearson said the road required a final trim and roll, and a further 200 metres of the road would be re-sheeted around a curve in the road to create better traction for vehicles travelling around the bend.
