The Port Lincoln Netball Association is calling on locals to get behind the GEMS Program for players with disability by providing sponsorship.
Last year the program was started with nine girls with disabilities to give them a chance to play netball, rather than just be spectators.
The association is once again offering the GEMS Program for 2018 but are looking for sponsors for this year.
People are being asked to provide a $60 sponsorship, which would allow each player to receive their own representative shirt, with the sponsor’s name on the back, as well as a netball and drink bottle.
The association says people have until July 4 to provide sponsorship.
