McDonald’s Port Lincoln celebrated its 10th birthday in style with a party at the Port Lincoln Hotel on Wednesday night.

People gathered in the hotel’s ballroom for the party which celebrated the business’ 10 years in the Port Lincoln community.

Being July 4 the party had a “red, white and blue” theme.

Entertainment included a comedy routine from local chef Tony Ford and music from Absolutely 80s, which featured artists from acts including Chantoozies, Boom Crash Opera and Models.

The event also served as a fundraiser for Ride for Sick Kids 2018, with participants including locals Trent Adams and Mark Forbes.

Items were sold off in a live auction, with Steve Kemp serving as auctioneer, which raised $18,400.

To top the night off the Baj family cut a special cake made by local cake maker Wendy McDonald and shaped like something else celebrating a birthday this year, a Big Mac.
