Adelaide-based multi-instrumentalist Adam Page will be bringing his one-man show to Port Lincoln later this month.
Mr Page will play his musically manic, fun and interactive show at the Port Lincoln Hotel on Saturday, July 28.
He has been a hit at festivals around the world, including WOMADelaide, Glastonbury and the New Zealand International Jazz Festival, and has taken out awards including best music at the Adelaide Fringe in 2017.
Mr Page has made a name for himself by feeding his many instruments through loop pedals to build lush, layered musical backdrops.
With more than 15 years of performance experience, Mr Page works with a range of musical genres, from jazz to tango to afrobeats, all within his improvised performance.
The shows form part of a tour of regional South Australia, which includes shows on the West Coast in Streaky Bay and Ceduna before arriving in Port Lincoln.
Mr Page said he was excited to bring his music to a number of Eyre Peninsula locations.
“I am a country boy myself and know first-hand the importance of taking art out of the cities and into the lives of those not able to travel large distances to regularly check out gigs,” he said.
“I know my music will be something truly unique and something you’ve never experienced before, and this makes me really happy.
Tickets are $27 for adults and $10 for those under 17 and are available from Port Lincoln Camera Centre, phone 8682 2296 or Luggage Plus, phone 8682 5655.
Tickets for the performance can also be booked online at www.countryarts.org.au.
