This years show featured everything from rides, food, horses, show-bags, pigeons, chickens, live music and arts to competitions.

We had just under 2000 people pass through the gates...

Show president Peter Hughes said numbers were down from last year, but that was expected after the weekend’s weather.

“We had just under 2000 people pass through the gates, so slightly down from last year.

“But we were happy with those numbers, considering Sunday’s weather with the few showers that passed over and the clouds.”

However numbers were up in the pavilion.

“We had a lot of entrants across the board, which was great,” Mr Hughes said.

Denim Maloney “Westwood Supa Caste” took home the Supreme Show Horse Champion, Simon Drewitt took home Bird of Show for his Modena Pigeon and Colin Mullan took home Bird of Show for his Australorp Chicken.

Mr Hughes said all in all the show was considered a success by the committee, who will commence their debrief of the event in coming weeks before their annual general meeting is held in November.

Next year’s event will take place on Sunday, August 11.
