A man reported for indecent behavior at a Port Lincoln location will face court after being reported to police earlier this month.
At about 2pm on Wednesday, August 15, a 65-year-old man was reported to police by members of the public for indecent behaviour at Snook’s Landing at Kirton Point.
Inspector Mark Hubbard said police would discourage members of the public to approach someone who was acting in an appropriate manner and instead observe details such as their appearance and what car they were driving and leave the police to deal with them.
“We have zero tolerance for suspicious or antisocial behaviour in our community,” Mr Hubbard said.
He said police encouraged members of the public to report suspicious behaviour to 131 444 or crimestoppers.
The man will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
