RDA appoints new board

Two new faces have been included in the Regional Development Australia Whyalla and Eyre Peninsula’s board after the chairman announced the appointment of the organisations new board last week. 

Chairman Bryan Trigg will be joined by new board members Thomas Antonio and Ricky Trenberth and returning members Malcolm Catt, Allan Suter, Jack Velthuizen, Heather Baldock, Clare McLaughlin and Colin Carter. 

Mr Antonio is a Whyalla City councillor, former deputy mayor, acting mayor of Whyalla and owns four electrical retail businesses in Whyalla, Port Lincoln, Port Augusta and Port Pirie.

Mr Trenberth is an operations manager for a major regional agribusiness on the Eyre Peninsula and Far West Coast and has had seven years experience of management accounting in a national wool company.

“The new members bring valuable skills and a diverse range of experience to the board,” Mr Trigg said.
