Port Lincoln and parts of Eyre Peninsula are expected to experience severe winds as a cold front moves west across the state Friday evening.
The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a severe weather warning for damaging winds for districts including Lower Eyre Peninsula and the West Coast as well as parts of Eastern Eyre Peninsula.
The bureau has forecast a vigorous cold front to move over central and eastern districts Friday evening with a cold and vigorous west to southwesterly airstream to develop over the south of the state.
Potentially damaging winds averaging 50 to 60 kilometres per hour will first develop about the far western coasts from early Friday evening before affecting remaining exposed coasts.
Locations which may be affected include Ceduna, Port Lincoln, Cleve, Kangaroo Island and Adelaide.
The State Emergency Service once again advises people to take precautions, which include securing loose items on properties, moving vehicles under cover and staying indoors while conditions were severe.
