Driver four times the limit

A man has lost his licence after being caught drink driving last night in Port Lincoln.

About 10pm, Tuesday, September 18, patrols stopped a man on McFarlane Avenue,  he submitted to a breath test and returned an alleged reading of 0.227.

The 66-year-old local man lost his licence on the spot for twelve months and his car was impounded for 28 days.

He was reported for drink driving and will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
