Lincoln National Park will be abuzz with activities this month as the park once again features as the Department for Environment and Water’s statewide ‘Park of the Month’.
The planned activities including exploring the coast, taking a self-guided drive, bushwalking, or joining rangers for a guided, family ‘Beach Bingo’ event.
Coastal ranger Elly Schultz will co-host Beach Bingo at September Beach with the Friends of Southern Eyre Peninsula Parks volunteers on December 17 and December 21 from 10am.
It is bound to be a popular event, and is suitable for supervised children aged four and upwards; so bookings are essential.
Nature Play SA has also published an illustrated poster highlighting ‘15 Natural Treasures of Lincoln National Park’ which is available online or from the Port Lincoln Natural Resource Centre and the Port Lincoln Visitor Information Centre.
