Fourteen players competed in a stableford.
Mick Kenny was the nearest the pin (NTP) winner on 5/14 as well as the competition with 38 points while Sid Calvery returned to the winner’s group with a 37 and Bruce Greenshields was third on a count back from Mat Pertzel and Noel Siviour all with 36.
Dean Lodge was the NTP winner on 1/10.
Sunday, December 2
A stroke round with 18 players was the order of the day.
Tim Branford defeated Peter Oestman on a count back both with 69 while Colin Pascoe took the third ball from Bob Prout both on 72.
John Kenny was the NTP winner on 5/14 while Peter Moos and Ann Middleton won the NTP on 1/10.
Ann Middleton won the ladies, but the scores are irrelevant.
Thursday, December 6
Twelve men competed in a stableford on a pretty warm day, probably just as well the club has a defibrillator installed.
Mat Pertzel was the winner with 42, it is good to see Mat back playing.
David Sims did not go reaping that day so was second with 36 while Willem Rammers came a close third with 35.
David Sims was the NTP winner on 1/10 while Colin Pascoe was the closest at 5/14.
Sunday, December 9
This was our favourite par round with 17 players competing.
Jean Puckridge had a great day with winning the balls at 5/14 (second shot), 1/10 as well as the ladies with a -2.
Helen Rammers was second with -3. Peter Moos finished a great round with +5 while Tim Branford came in with +4 and John Kenny +2.
Tim Branford also won the NTP ball at 5/14 while Phil Siviour was closest on 1/10.
It was a lovely day and Clayle Henning from 34 Degrees South topped it off with a platter, as well as our nibbles done by Jean Puckridge and Bob Prout.
Work has started on our number seven tee block to further tidy up our golf course.
