Eyre Peninsula Crows group puts together Crouch visit

The Eyre Peninsula Crows Supporters Group is committed to inviting Crows superstars to Port Lincoln once a year, and has lined up a brotherly double act for an event in January.

The group has organised ‘A Night with the Crows Bros’ which will see Adelaide stars Matt and Brad Crouch visit the Port Lincoln Yacht Club on January 12.

Group chairperson Janice Regan said in previous years the supporters group has been able to have access to players but this had proved difficult in recent years.

However she said the group was aiming to bring players over yearly for the benefit of Eyre Peninsula supporters.

“We aim to try to give back to the supporters who can’t go to Adelaide for games,” she said.

“We want to try to do this every year so (Crows) supporters on EP have access to these players.”

Mrs Regan said the Crouch brothers visit followed an event the group held in February which saw captain Taylor Walker and Riley Knight visit.

A Night with the Crows Bros will give people the chance to meet with the Crouch brothers and enjoy photo opportunities, with a q and a session hosted by master of ceremonies Jason Regan.

The event will be catered by Damien Mrdjen with a smorgasbord provided.

There will be a raffle with sold only on the night, door prizes and an auction for items including a 2018 signed guernsey and a football signed by captain Taylor Walker and coach Don Pyke.

Mrs Regan said tickets were $50 per head for Crows or supporter group members and $60 for non-members, while juniors aged 8 to 15 were $25 and under 8 was $10.

Tickets are available through Dynamic Stationary Plus and La Mode Hairstylists.

Mrs Regan said the Eyre Peninsula Crows Supporters Group keeps money raised on the Eyre Peninsula and helps to local causes and organisations.
