Port Lincoln Police have arrested two teenagers in connection with the recent spate of thefts and break-ins that occurred overnight on Thursday January 10.
As part of their ongoing investigation, uniform police and detectives carried out a search of a home in the township on Friday, uncovering items allegedly stolen from a break-in the day prior, and from a theft that occurred on January 6.
An 18-year-old man from Port Adelaide was charged with two counts of unlawful possession, while an 18-year-old woman from Andrews Farm was charged with one count of unlawful possession.
The man was refused bail and will appear in the Port Lincoln Magistrates Court today, and the woman has been bailed to appear in court on February 12.
Investigators and crime scene examiners were called to properties in nine different locations in Port Lincoln on Thursday, where police said in a majority of incidents thieves had entered homes and cars that were unlocked.
