Port Lincoln PETstock ready for adoption day

PETstock Port Lincoln is closing in on 50 cat adoptions as it once again takes part in National Pet Adoption Day this Saturday.

National Pet Adoption Day is an initiative run by PETstock’s charity arm PETstock Assist and adoption site PetRescue.

The Port Lincoln store will try to find new homes for cats from the RSPCA and Making a Difference Cat Rescue and Adoptions.

Store manager Tammie Gudzenovs said the store had RSPCA in-store adoptions for nearly one year and was about to reach 50 cat adoptions.

“We love being able to adopt them consistently,” she said.

“It’s great for people to know there’s a day for meeting the variety of cats up for adoption.”

National Pet Adoption Day in Port Lincoln will run in-store from 10am until 2pm.
