More cricket activities are being provided to young cricket fans in Port Lincoln following the successful Adelaide Strikers Holiday Program in the school holidays.

Last month Centenary Oval hosted the Adelaide Strikers Holiday Program which was attended by more than 40 boys and girls aged 5 to 10-years-old.

The young participants advanced their skills through a range of drills, games and challenges.

Sessions on January 21 to 23 were held at Centenary Oval and Navigator College provided the Mangiri Health and Wellbeing Centre for the final day on January 24 due to the hot temperatures.

The organisers have thanked Navigator College and Port Lincoln City Council for the use of facilities.

The holiday program will be followed by the summer season of the Port Lincoln Cricket Association Woolworths Cricket Blast Centre.

The program will run for six weeks on Monday afternoons from 3.30pm at Port Lincoln Primary School Oval, starting February 11.

The program is again available for 5-10-year-olds, boys and girls of all skill levels.
