Tumby Bay Hotel Twenty20 Championship

The Rovers Cricket Club have picked up their second consecutive Twenty20 Cup on Saturday. 

Rovers took out the title by percentage in a close finish to the series.

Along with Lipson and Colts, Rovers had won two games during the tri-series.

However when Colts pulled off a spirited win against Lipson in the final game on Saturday, Rovers were declared the winners on percentage based on the runs scored and wickets taken.

It was another successful series for the Tumby Bay Cricket Association.

There was strong crowd numbers and support for the series which is sponsored by the Tumby Bay Hotel.

Tumby Bay Cricket Association president Mark Cameron presented the cup to Rovers Captain Sam Boehm following the final game.

Cameron also presented the Pedemonte Jewellers player of the series award which was won by Rovers’ Jackson Murphy.
