For those looking for something to do on the upcoming March long weekend will find plenty of food and entertainment for the whole family at the Tumby Market at the Bay on Sunday, March 10.

Presented by the Tumby Bay District Council and the Tumby Bay and Districts Lions Club, 'Market at the Bay' promises a family friendly day of live music, local produce and crafts, and food and wine stalls, all from the township and region.

For vintage car enthusiasts, the Road Runners Car Club will provide an impressive display of up to 90 vintage cars – popular with all ages.

For the children, there will be face painting, ‘chalk the walk’, and an appearance by ‘Rosie the Goanna’.

Art and craft aficionados can browse stalls featuring local artworks, jewellery and handmade bags, candles, enviro-bags and products and much more.

Beer and wine lovers will be spoilt for choice, with Boston Bay Wines and Beer Garden Brewing offering their local tipples.

There will be all the usual food favourites such as hamburgers, hot dogs, fish/squid and chips, pancakes, donuts and more.

Lovers of traditional country fare are also catered for with a variety of local chutneys, jams, cakes and slices to choose from.

The market at the foreshore near the yacht club will run from 10am to 5pm.
