On a beautiful day for cricket, Charlton hosted Southern Eyre South at Poole Oval in the second semi final.

Dylan Dunn and Troy Dunn did the toss and Dylan came first and elected to bat.

Trevor Matheson and Corey Stephens looked promising before Dwayne Murphy clean bowled Matheson in the fourth over for two.

Matthew Woods hung around for five before being bowled by T. Dunn.

D. Dunn was caught by Shepperd at mid-off from the bowling of T. Dunn.

Ben Jaensch was also out by T. Dunn with a nice catch at mid-wicket by Dylan Doudle.

Andrew Wilsdon was bowled for four with an inside edge off T. Dunn.

Corey Stephens was plumb off Murphy and Darth Westaway was dropped twice, then he was also trapped in front by Dustin Parker for a top score of 24.

Andrew Blackberry, dropped down from A grade, was bowled by colt Tom (Chub) Morgan for four.

He was the first of Morgan's wickets as he also took James Fuss and Aaron Dunn finishing 3/7 off 3.5 overs.

One of them was Charlie Shepperd's second catch for the day.

James Cuddeford was 11 not out.

Charlton set a total of 78.

Jim Casanova and Dustin Parker opened the batting for Southern Eyre South and did well before Casanova, Parker and Dunn were removed in the same over by James Cuddeford.

Could be a hat trick coming up.

Dwayne Murphy, smashing a few fours and a six, and Dylan Doudle steadied the team getting the runs comfortably with Murphy finishing 31 not out and Doudle five not out.
