The Lower Eyre Peninsula Baseball League will reward its best players from the 2018/19 season at its annual Best and Fairest Dinner at Lincoln South Football Club on Saturday.

Beginning at 6.30pm, awards will be presented across the leagues three grades, including for best batting average as well as the overall grade best and fairest.

Indians will hope for another swag of awards like last year but Shields, who returned from a one year hiatus this season will have a few contenders with some great individuals achievements as well from Saints and Coyotes.

The baseball season is nearing its end with the penultimate week of matches this Friday at Ravendale.

It begins at 5pm with the under 16 grand final between Coyotes and Indians.

The B grade begins at 6.45pm as Indians and Shields contest for the remaining spot in the final. In A grade Shields and Saints play at 8.30pm for the chance to play Indians in the final next Friday.
