SEED returns for another year

SEED is back, the inaugural youth music event presented by the Port Lincoln Arts Council sold out last year and was one of the highlights of SALT festival.

This year the event is being held on Sunday, March 24 at Beer Garden Brewing from 2pm to 6pm.

The line-up includes 2019 Battle of the Bands winners Rafikee.

Band members Kaya Huntley and brothers Cooper Story and Rainer Story formed after meeting at SEED last year.

While all of SEED's performers are 18 and under, some already have experience on the national stage.

Charlee Watt is a 14-year-old singer, a student at the House of Creative Learning. She has been studying singing for eight years and won a place in the Gondwana National summer choral program in Sydney for the last two years.

Tascha Jordison is back again at SEED and won a scholarship to play at the Adelaide Cabaret Festival in 2017.

Indie Blue bring their unique indie original style for the second year.

The House of Creative Learning have been great supporters with a choir, drumline and guitarists all featuring.

Jayde Whittaker's vocals will feature again.

Other performers include Dana Hurrell and Grace Blacker on piano, bands Yabbies on a Leash and Boom Brothers, debut performers Jessie Hyde and Donella Smart and Becky Kemp.
